How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book one to three months ahead, especially for weddings or larger events. The earlier you reach out, the better the chance I can reserve your date and inventory.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date and reserve inventory. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event.
What happens if my event is postponed or canceled?
You can reschedule once with more than 30 days’ notice. Between 30-16 days a 15 percent rebooking fee may apply. The deposit will transfer to your new date. However, cancellations within 15 days of the event are non-refundable.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes. Delivery and setup are available across Maui, with additional options for Oahu. Delivery fees vary by location and access. All large installations, lighting, and canopy setups must be handled by Rustic Gatherings.
Do you have a minimum for delivery?
Yes. Rustic Gatherings Maui has a $500 rental minimum for all deliveries anywhere on the island. This helps cover delivery, setup, and pickup so everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
If your order total is under $500, some smaller items may still be available for pickup depending on the pieces. If you’re not sure what your total might come to, reach out and I can help build a package that fits your event and location.
Can we pick up smaller items ourselves?
Yes, for certain items only. Smaller décor and select pieces may be eligible for pickup. Each request is reviewed to ensure safe transport and handling.
Can you help me design or plan my event layout?
While I don’t offer full event planning services, I’m always happy to help with layout suggestions and practical setup guidance based on your space and guest count.
Do you work with planners or other vendors?
Yes. I regularly partner with local planners, florists, and photographers. Coordination with other vendors helps everything come together smoothly on event day.
Can I rent items from both Rustic Gatherings Maui and Yard Games Hawaii?
Yes, and it’s encouraged. Combining design pieces from Rustic Gatherings with the interactive experiences of Yard Games Hawaii creates a balance of beauty and connection that guests love.
What areas do you serve?
Rustic Gatherings Maui primarily serves Maui, with select rentals available for Oahu events. Deliveries outside of Maui are limited and depend on scheduling and availability.
What should I expect on event day?
I’ll handle delivery, setup, and breakdown of all larger items so you can focus on enjoying the day. Clear communication before the event ensures everything runs on time and exactly as expected.
